Officially reentering the fray of working on music, it honestly feels like a homecoming. Gothic music as “Red in Obscura” and extreme black metal as “VVolven” offer me a couple of powerful outlets for the darkness inside me. I can say I haven’t recorded black metal since I was sixteen years old in the mid-90s with Dying Eden, so I am most excited about returning to the hellscape of technical and atmospheric black metal. Gothic music I recorded as D-Lux from 2001-2010, so it is a little more recent…
I have begun writing tidbits here and there already, and I am getting the necessary items needed to go hard into writing and recording. I am doing all of my projects by myself, as I have a distinct vision of what it should sound like and the aesthetic of it. I can do the projects alone and actually prefer it that way truthfully, as it allows me complete control over every aspect of them.
The label I am using for my musical ventures is a familiar one, Echo Vibe Records, and I will set up a stand-alone website for it in the near future. A new dawn is on the horizon for me in music and I am absolutely excited to see it to fruition!
This will be incredible for me… I cannot wait to show you all and have you indulge in the barbarity that’s in store… VVOLVEN, the great grey beast, is being freed from its chains, and it is very hungry…
